On October 14 to the south of RIGA, our forces continued an offensive to secure the following settlements: RAMASMEZS, MEDEMI, BALOZI, PLAKANI, BLIJAS, KRAMAS, JAUNZEMI, CIRULI, BERZU, and the railroad station of BALOZI.
In North Transylvania, our forces, together with Romanian forces, secured the settlements of MAJER, OLAHSENGYERDY, FELDRA, NEPOS, MINTJU, BETLEN, UNGURAS, GERLA, BORSA, MIHESTI and the railroad stations of MAJER, OLAHSENGYERDY, ILVA-MIKE, FELDRA, NEPOS, KOC, BETLEN, and GERLA.
To the south and southeast of Belgrade, our forces, together with units of the People’s Liberation Army of Yugoslavia, secured the following settlements: KUMODRAZ, BELI POTOK, RIPANJ, ARANDBELOVAC, CUPRIJA, PARACIN, DELIGRAD, and ALEKSINAC.
Reconnaissance operations and local fighting were reported elsewhere on the front.
On October 13, our forces destroyed 195 German tanks on all fronts. The Soviet air and air defense forces downed 56 enemy aircraft.
