On March 14, the 3rd Belarussian Front forces advanced destroying the East-Prussian enemy grouping, during which they took the settlements of Gross Klingbeck, Grunewiese, Lank, Bartlangen, Hirschken, Hanswalde, Gross Lutkenfurst, Schonlinde, Neuenglich, Rodersdorf, Hohenwalde, Breitlinde, Lindenau and the railroad station of Vogelsang. Over 2,000 German officers and men were taken prisoner.
