In the course of February 26, our troops, fighting northwest of KONIGSBERG on the SAMLAND Peninsula, repelled enemy infantry and tank attacks. Southwest of KONIGSBERG, our troops took by force the settlements of ERNSTFELDE, DUSTERWALDE, NAUSSEDEN, HEILIGENHOF, JANNITZ. A total of 69 German tanks and self-propelled guns were disabled and destroyed in the areas northwest and southwest of KONIGSBERG on February 25.

In the area of BRESLAU, our troops, continued to fight to eliminate the enemy garrison encircled in the town, seizing 15 blocks.

Local fighting and reconnaissance raids were reported on the other sections of the front.

On February 25, 125 German tanks were disabled and destroyed on all fronts. A total of 31 enemy aircraft were brought down in aerial combat or by anti-aircraft guns.
